The Antica Torre di Via Tornabuoni n.1 is located on the top floors of a converted 13th century tower in the centre of beautiful Florence. The 12 guestrooms, over three floors, have muted tones, traditional style Italian furnishings and separate sitting areas. All are equipped with satellite television, direct dial phones, complimentary Internet access, desks, climate control, safes, minibars, coffee/tea makers, slippers and trouser presses. Bathrooms have bidets, hair dryers and makeup mirrors. Cribs are available on request.
Located on the top floors of a tower which is part of a medieval palace, this hotel offers a genuine taste of historic Florence. Guests have access to the roof terrace which offers a breathtaking 360 degree view of the city, and multilingual staff at the front desk can offer safe deposit boxes and help with information on sightseeing and eating out. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby, and practical amenities include valet parking at a nearby garage for a charge, room service, and dry cleaning and laundry facilities. The hotel is right in the centre of the historic city and it is easy to get to many of the areas attractions; the Ponte Vecchio bridge is just 300 metres from the hotel, and the magnificent Duomo is 600 metres away. Santa Maria Novella Station is 300 metres from the hotel, and Florence Vespucci Airport is 20 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.
